last pday here in kansas. ):

YUP. 18 months have come and gone. Its so weird for me to think that I have to go home. I actually did have a little emotional breakdown on saturday night when I realized that this was my LAST WEEK.
But I have learned so much here in Kansas, everyone that I have met here in Kansas has played such a HUGE role in my life. I know that this is where I was meant to be- Kansas is where its at!

Overall, from my mission what I have learned is.. ALOT.
But I know for sure that the Savior does live and he is there for us all the time. He IS MY BEST FRIEND. He's helped me overcome alot of personal pride and doubt to be where I am at today. I Love LOVE my mission so much because of the Savior and everything He and Heavenly Father has blessed me with. I know that this is Christ's church and He is at the Head of it led by Thomas S. Monson. I'm super grateful for the priesthood. SO GRATEFUL.
I Love you all! and Ill see you soon.... #choosejoy

and i love dogs!... obviously.. some things never change.

Sunday was testimony meeting and it was a really nice one- it was also my last time in the family ward which felt weird. I had to leave early to go catch my comp at the YSA ward (she had to teach the lesson in Relief Society- haha)
We had linger longer and had ALOT of fun getting to know more of the members in the YSA- I love them all, they are so much fun to be around and they are all so excited to share the gospel with their friends.
We went out on a team up with a member and we asked her if she knew anyone that was looking for a church or needed a friend and she didn't know anyone. But apparently, she was inspired by the spirit after our teamup and that night she prayed for opportunities to be a missionary! The Lord blessed her the next day and she was able to talk to a co-worker about church and now her friend will be coming to church next sunday! She was so excited to tell us! (:

Um, what else has happened?! We had MEETINGS ALL DANG WEEK. Zone trainings and MLC, BUT! it was alot of fun, I love getting to see the other sisters in the Derby Zone! They are such wonderful lights to be around, they have helped me so much. Wichita has been a party!  I LOVE IT HERE! We have the best Zone Leaders and everyone else are just some of my favorite people in this world. We are having dinner with the Stake President tonight- Brother and Sister Williams.. haha We are family. (really though)

I guess this all I can really think of right now- But we really had a fun week. Lots of miracles, our investie Jaidyn came to church with her returning inactive father, it was such a sweet miracle. Then she also came to a baptism in prep for her own coming up soon! I love her, shes so cute.

I love being here in Kansas, being a representative of Jesus Christ and EVERYTHING ELSE! BEST DECISION IN MY LIFE SO FAR. I love the gospel and for the blessings my family and I have received from losing myself in the work of salvation for others to have the chance to have the same in their life. If a mission was easy, everyone would be doing it. I know I was meant to be here in Kansas, best mission in the world. (:

Have a great week anndd... I'll see some of you in a week.. ew.

P.S the anderson twins along with Parker and his wife Katie are here in Wichita! haha crazy right? I'll have to hunt them down and say hi. that would be funny.
anyway, fun side note. Idaho is coming to KANSAS!

EASTER//

hola como estan!?

we had a great week of being missionaries! WE are preparing for sisters conference this friday and more exchanges with our amazing sisters in Derby!
For easter I sang in the YSA ward with our Bishop and his daughter. We sang "I know that my Redeemer lives", totally had to makeup harmony on the spot.. talk about stepping out of my comfort zone.. haha

We had a lot of people come to church which was great! It must have been Easter...
Verity Clark is going on her mission to LA CALIFORNIA! she has come out with the sisters for EVERYTHING- she is so solid. We love her and are going to miss her!

umm.. but I am doing pretty good! Yesterday we had snow and then today its like 70's today. I don't understand.. But its okay. Womens general conference was GREAT and I'm super excited for GENERAL CONFERENCE!!

Anyway- my mission has meant everything to me, I don't know where I would be or who I would be without coming out to Kansas to serve Heavenly Father. It kinda makes me sick to think about
"what if I didn't come on a mission". I AM SO GRATEFUL for the opportunity that I have been blessed with to be here in KANSAS. Kansas is such a holy place - this is the LORDS mission. (:
I love you all! Have a great week!! AND I STILL HAVE A LONG TIME LEFT. so yall need to chill. (; kdding- i love you.

*these emails are probs are going to get shorter and shorter because... 3.5 weeks... ): #cry

Best week Eva!

I had my last zone conference and I bawled like a baby while trying to bear my testimony. It was a struggle but I made it through.lol overall the whole meeting was so spiritual and revelatory then the next day we went to the TEMPLE!!

I love the temple!! This is all of us sisters.... Love them all.
So yeah we had a major awesome week here in Wichita! Something that has become my pet peeve or just kinda annoying is when people ask us how long we have been out..because the. Sister filigrana just starts cackling.... JERK! ❤️I am devastated!
But anyway! I absolutely love serving here in Kansas. Jesus Christ is my best friend! I didn't realize that we could ever have such a relationship with the Savior. He's changed my life.
I'm grateful for all of you and your example, everything I've been able to do and become is because of all of you. Thank you so much!!😘😘

I love you all, keep choosing joy!

<3Sister WilliamsSo I love you all, but I'm never coming home! #stayinginkansasforevs
-sister birks doesn't want me to leave.. Lol

Heyyyy.
So sister filly and I had a super amazing week! Last week we met
Marcus and Annabel and we have started teaching them, they came to FHE
and then they both came to church and stayed all 3 hours! They LOVED
it! We also snagged a recent covert less active who tried to get out
of coming to church... But we got her to come. But they are now
working towards April 2nd! We are super pumped for them!

the last...transfer..

So, as you all know my companion Sister Houston went home and transfers were fun/ not fun. But I have a new companion named SISTER FILIGRANA! We have seen so many miracles in the past 4 days its been amazing! We met this 14 yr.old girl named Miyah who had met missionaries in the past and now wants to meet again and is on date for the 26th!! WOOH! she is totes getting baptized its insane.
WE have been so busy in the past week.. I can't remember what happened. DANG. umm..
We had Zone Powwow with all the new missionaries and it was a partay!

Kate and Tatyanna are great! We went over to introduce sister filigrana (she's Columbian, Puertorican and Argentinian) and Kate was telling us how she new the Book of Mormon was true and how it feels right. It was so cool to have her share that with us. We are excited to help them get baptized! (:

But Kansas is great, Maize is awesome! Things are happening and I haven't felt so much joy since being here. Sister Filigrana has helped me so much to reach my potential as a missionary- one that Heavenly Father expects and knows I can be. I still have a long ways to go but I know I'll get there. Next week we have Zone Conference and a Temple Trip!! This time I get to go to the OKC Temple. WOOH! I am soo excited! I love going to the temple, especially on a mission.

SO funny story, last night we were out being missionaries, enjoying the wind and warm weather. it was seriously 8:40 and 70degrees.. yeah. I know. awesome.
So we went to knock on this unknown less active and as we are walking up I was like "what is his name?" and sister filigrana looks at me, after knocking, "I dont know!" ha "CRAP, I already knocked!" haha. SO we waited and no one came... so we were looking through the window on the door and we saw a really cool picture of Jesus! Sister filly was like "look!" and apparently as she was saying that, the front door wasn't shut all the way and she leaned on it and the door flew open!! WE FROZE. and then after realizing what just happened she reached in and grabbed the door to shut it. Then we were like... "lets leave!" so she took off and as I was about to be out of sight, They came to the door and were like "what are you doing!!" all we could get out to say was " WE ARE SOO SORRY!" long apologies... long story short they let us in, fed us smoked salmon and were able to have an interesting discussion about Mormons.. The dad claimed to not be a member... but he is.. haha he had really cute girls that liked us and gave us hugs at the end. lol So! yeah it was a very interesting day.

Anyway! hope you all are doing well and are enjoying life. I am. (: Reality hit me earlier last week that this is my last 7 weeks on my mission and I don't know what to really say about it. I'm excited but also not really. I love serving here in the best mission in the world with the greatest missionaries and friends- I have grown to love them all so much. Being able to see the transformation the gospel can make in our lives and the lives of others has been one of the greatest miracles I've been able to witness as a missionary. Love you all!!
xoxo

SunSHINE! (i really don't know what to write in these anymore...you know after sooo long. (;

Hello!
So this is going to be short because I don't really know what to write and we have alot to do since my companion is going home... :'( SADD DAY..
surprisingly- she hasn't cried as much as I thought she would... she must be in denial. lol

However! this last week Sister Houston and I decided that we would have as much fun as possible and WE DID. took a lot of selfies because that was part of our goals- haha. GOAL SMASHED!

Tatyanna and her mom came to church for all three hours and LOVED IT! I was able to teach gospel principles and the spirit made it a great lesson- (:

This morning! a member let us hide for her K9 Search and Rescue dogs! It was so fun! Her dogs are golden retrievers and they had to come look for us as if we were lost kids in the woods.. and then when they found us they had to bark 7 times before we could react. and then we had to be super excited and PRAISE them for finding us... however a german shepherd didn't find me... ): It was pretty sad.. haha dangit.

But anyway! this is my last transfer and its really weird. I honestly never thought I would get to this point. But, I am SOO pumped because we have such an awesome zone that its going to be the best and I'm going to make it the best anyway. (:
I hope you have a wonderful week and stay safe! (:
Love you all so much! Keep it real.

Sister Williams

heyyy!

I'll be on later today!! I'm going to the mall with some sisters. anndd! I'm staying in Maize! thats not really a shocker- but I'm getting a new companion! her name is sister filigrana! its going to be fun.

okay- hopefully when I get on later I'll have so many wonderful emails from you all. (: haha (;

pics from TODAY//

Had Derby Zone Pday in the nicest weather ever...

Feeling like spring out here!

So we are having some really great high 60 degree weather out here. I've been working on my tan. (; ha jk. sorta.

But we had a really great week, lots of exchanges with awesome sisters! on Wednesday I went to Glenn Hills with Sister Pimmy- we were companions back in Hiawatha! and since I knew God wouldn't let me go back while on my mission, he allowed me to relive the glory days with Sister Pimmy one last time. (: We had alot of fun and tons of flash backs with all of our conversations.. But we had a super crazy, awesome, GREAT milagro with their investie Elizabeth. She is in the YSA branch and has known about the church forever and has loved the missionaries- however has asked them to not talk about baptism or push it. So we were at the church to read the scriptures and all that jazz, when the topic of baptism came up within 10 mins and this time she was like "ya know... I've been thinking about it... SIGN ME UP" haha. and she was baptized 3 days later. God is so good, and it was probably one of the coolest moments of my mission.

Tatyanna and her mom came to church again and were planning on staying all three hours but something came up- but they are going to try for next week! (: tatyanna is looking good for baptism but we are being patient and listening to the spirit.

I had my LAST interview with President Bell... I didn't realize it was my last one till Elder Limb pointed it out...#jerk (;
But since then I have been thinking about how blessed I have been to be here in Kansas and to serve with them here in the best mission in the whole world. I remember reading my mission call and thinking "kansas?...ugh..." haha. WHAT WAS I THINKING! #Iwasn't
We had a Mission President Devotional last night and we were given the opportunity to bring recent converts, investigators or returning less active members. So many wonderful stories and testimonies were shared- it was so inspiring. Just from hearing their testimonies on having a change of heart, taking the time to Listen to what the missionaries had to say and being patient- God was able to work a miracle in them. It just helps me to have a stronger testimony of the gospel and really see the difference it makes in our lives when we live it.
I love my mission so much, its helped me to grow closer to our Savior and truly LOVE Him.
Anyway! I'll send some pics because I actually took some.. #hoorayforsisterwilliams

have a wonderful week! love you all like cray! (:

Sunny in Wichita!

Heyyyoo!
So we had a pretty eventful week which was fun and crazy all at the same time!
Sister Houston had a birthday and so sister bell took us out to lunch at Cheddars! Its a made from scratch/ home made everything restaurant! really good. (:

We had exchanges with the Kellogg Hermanas down in Derby- I went to Derby and brushed up on my espanol. #almostfluent We talked to lots of spanish people- I had no I idea what to say so I usually started the conversation and let her finish.. haha I was good for something. There was this less active family who is from Puerto Rico who made us these fried banana meat pie things.. they were really good.. and interesting. I only ate one because I was so full.. but they were like "eat more!" ..."I literally can't.."
But we saw a lot of miracles, Sister Goulding hasn't been in the area for too long, so she doesn't know the area super well yet. So we were lost alot. However, we made it work... we were driving in a sketchy part of town and had no clue where we were going.. when she was like "We are here for a reason." and like 5 mins later we found our way to an investigators house. So we knocked on it- the mom came to the door and I said "Hola, como esta?!" (thats the extent of my spanish) the next thing you know- we were in the house and teaching her 3 girls! We taught one of them how to pray and her prayer was so sweet and sincere I was almost in tears. (: After we put them on date Sister Goulding told me that they have tried getting into their house forever and that was the first time  they have been able to. So I definitely know that we were meant to be lost for a reason and trusting in God- he ALWAYS provides a way. #MILAGROS
Sister Goulding is also a marathon runner and wakes up at 5am to go running... so I went with her and I am now currently recovering from torn muscles and I can't run nor walk normal right now. LIFE IS GRAND.... I felt really good afterwards... not anymore. haha

Tatyanna and her mom came on a church tour this week and it was super great. The mom has been reading the Gospel Principles book and reading info off mormon.org. She had lots of really good questions and a lady in our ward was able to answer them for her. It was overall a really spiritual experience for everyone.

Elder Evans, a general authority came to our mission and gave us instruction and the only thing I can really remember without looking in my notes was he told us to "DONT BE STUPID" haha. He taught us a lot of really good things, but that's what stands out.. I guess I have some repenting to do apparently... lol
But we had a good week, this week we have interviews and more exchanges with more awesome sisters! WOOH! This transfer is flying by, which is super weird.. cause sister houston goes home in 2 weeks annndd then.... ya'll know what that means.. I'm staying in Kansas! yup. (:

haha, Well I love you all so much! Hope you enjoy the weather wherever you are at- I will for sure. Looking forward to the SUN!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK! πŸ˜‡πŸŒ»πŸŒ»

February 8th... what in the world..

(Exchanges with the AMAZING winfield SISTERS!)
K. Time needs to freaking SLOW DOWN.
We had a super busy week but somehow I am still here and functioning somewhat properly.Last month our wonderful mission had 66 baptisms which was JANGANTIC. haha- there were so many miracles that kept happening because of the increase of faith in our mission. This is Christ's mission, at least that is what President Bell tells us. (;
At our MLC meeting there were alot of tears, many of the ZL's are being released in prep for the new mission president coming in July.

Anyway! Sister Houston is turning 22 tomorrow! she's so old.. hehe. Sunday, Tatyanna and her mom came to church again and were able to listen to the many testimonies, which were actually TESTIMONIES. It was really wonderful.
Her mom has a lot of questions and they agreed to come on a church tour to learn more to eventually be baptized! (:
We have also done tons of Role plays with the members, treating them like they are investigators! They love it, it gives them a chance to see missionary work from a different perspective. The goal is to help them feel the excitement of the spirit that comes from sharing the gospel with others. So far its been pretty good! (:

But we had a great week!! haha sorry I don't have much to write.. because I don't know what to say. But I absolutely love being here is Maize, its been one of the hardest places because everyone is FILTHY rich and are super comfy with where they are at. However, that doesn't matter because this is God's work and I'm here to do what he expects of me. Thats all that matters.
I hope you have a wonderful week, I'll be with a General Authority all weekend and so Im pretty happy about that. (:
Keep the faith and love one another.

LOVE YOU ALL!!😘

Monday, February 1, 2016

hey hey family!

Hey so we had a pretty fun week! the weather was awesome, High 50's and mid 60's.. So we were able to get out and talk to a bunch of people! We had exchanges with some of our sisters down in Derby. I also got my hair cut by our investigator- she did really good. I was nervous, but I still have my hair, its just a lot healthier and little shorter. hoorah!
So I'll send you all a pic.. since you are probably dying to know what it looks like. right? (;
I really have a bad memory of what even happened this week... I'm riding the struggle bus today. I'll just send yall pictures.. hahaπŸ€“

But however, Something I learned this week while preparing for my talk, that I gave in the YSA ward, was how we are constantly being brought to walls of faith. Joseph Smith said, "every man is eventually brought before a wall of faith and there he must make his stand." We can either exercise our faith in the Savior and his gospel or remain immobilized by those walls- where WE hold ourselves back from progressing in this life spiritually. I have gained over the course of my mission the utmost importance for having a SOLID foundation in Christ- because he makes this life possible and so much more worth living. With the knowledge of the Atonement and the love we can feel as we stay anxiously engaged in doing good continually. There are just so many blessings. (: So, I hope you all stay close to the savior and recommit to follow him more NOW.

Anyway, I guess I should also mention that President Bell asked me to put together a musical number for when Elder Evans of the Seventy comes next week! We are singing Savior Redeemer, the arrangement from "17 Miracles". πŸŽΆπŸ˜‚

Well, I love you all so much! Hope you have a wonderful week and stay warm.. hehe

more pics!

[heeeyy!]

Hey Family!
So this week was pretty funnn.. last monday we went to a trampoline park on the east side of wichita. No one got hurt so that was good, I only biffed it once- haha this kind ran across the tramp I was on and so I was just trying to avoid killing him. I looked awesome... :D
We have an investigator who has a strong addiction to drugs.. so we went over wednesday to see how she was doing with reading and praying.. and she was SO HIGH. #dude.
ha the whole time she was telling us that she swears she isn't high- but she didn't know why she was SO happy? (woman, what did you smoke?) Eventually, after telling us her whole life story, turned out she had smoked crystal meth monday night..apparently all her roommates all are on that too. So in her apartment there is a smog.. its just super cloudy and so that night and we were there for about an hour...Sister Houston and I were a bit hyper.. lol the next morning I threw up. #don'tdodrugs. Its funny now but then it wasn't too fun.
We went on exchanges with our lovely Rolling Hills sisters! I went with Sister Tafua, she is from Laie Hawaii! She is super sick- and we had the best time. Lots of miracles happened because of FAITH. She has such a strong testimony of missionary work- its really inspiring. (: I also had spam for the first time.. its not that bad. ha She LOVES IT. She told me that she would teach me how to surf and all that fun stuff. I'm totes going to Hawaii. (:
hmm.. We had transfers- I'm staying in Maize with sister houston! wooh! But alot of my friends went home... its so weird. I hate transfers.. they suck. ):
We also had a World Wide Missionary training that was broadcasted from SLC- it was great! I learned alot, they focused alot on Repentance and baptizing converts. Something that stood out to me is that I need to rely on the spirit more when I teach. I could SAY all I want that I think sounds great but if the spirit isn't there- its not going to make a difference. He is the TRUE teacher and the one who makes all the difference in missionary work.
Sunday was GREAT- we had Tatyanna and her mom come to sacrament meeting. All the talks were on family history and temples.. and her mom had alot of questions! I honestly didn't know what to say or how to say anything without it sounding like we are insane..(I'm good at making things confusing) But a lot of the members were around and were able to help me out. God is great! Something that was said in a talk was  "the temple shows the wisdom and mercy of our Heavenly Father". I haven't  ever thought about it that way- Ordinances are so important! Tatyanna is really excited about church and she even participated in taking the sacrament which is new! She wants to be baptized but she wants to wait til summer. #noooo Get baptized now! ha ha
Anyway- I can't remember much else- the weather is so annoying. It was 55 yesterday and today its FREEZING. Gah. But Kansas is awesome, I love it! Serving in Wichita is super fun, there are alot of really prepared people and the members are wonderful. I hope you all have a great week and stay warm where ever you are! (: I know Heavenly Father is mindful of you and takes care of you. <3Sister WIlliams

best week ever.

HELLO!
So we had a really fun filled week with exchanges with both sets of spanish speaking sisters! I am now fluent- in the 3 sentences I now know. (: It was alot of fun! I went to Kellogg with Sister Flygare! We saw lots of miracles, one was teaching a Hispanic family and two of their girls want to be baptized! It's very exciting because they know they need the gospel in their life. Their older brother has made some pretty crappy choices, and was put on house arrest- however he cut off his ankle bracelet and ran away. While we were there teaching he comes walking in the house, he was super kind and shook our hands, then went into the kitchen to eat. I was soo confused as to what had just happened. Then the mom, 5 minutes later, said the police were coming to get him. So we left- ah man the good things that happen in the ghetto of wichita! I missed it so much. haha. We walked across Broadway, talked to alot of hispanic people and I pretended like I spoke spanish. haha esta bien.
I went with Hermana Viera, she is from Puerto Rico! man, she is crazy and hilarious. She taught me alot of spanish while I was with her. We had fun though, talked to people in ENGLISH because she was my area haha. This one lady we were talking to wasn't too interested in talking to us and was beating around the bush, but sister viera wasn't going to leave until they flat out said "Im not interested!" so she just kept messing with the poor lady by asking bold questions.. "soo, if God told you to pray about it would you?"... We finally left.

So this whole transfer, oh yeah Im staying in Wichita with Sister Houston!! (: She goes home in 6 weeks... πŸ˜² Anyway, we have been trying to find this girl named Flor. We have had no clue where she went, phone is disconnected and apparently she moved. So we were with a member who knew Flor from school and was pretty good friends with her as well. We were going to the same apartment complex where she had previously lived. SO we knocked on the door for this former investigator, the girl who answered wasn't who we were looking for but it was FLOR!! hahaha omg, so crazy. I was giving our speel of we were and what we do- when she invited us in?! Then as we were walking in, the member saw who it was and was like "This is Flor!". total miracle! God is so good. SO she is now working towards overcoming a bad addiction to illegal drugs and being baptized in February! We are soo excited!! (:
But we had a fun week! At least I did. Oh and I gave a talk in Sacrament meeting on missionary work, I totally winged it. The Spirit is a great companion. haha. πŸ˜‡
Then I was asked to play a musical number on the piano as well.. only messed up like twice.. lol
Anyway! I love you all!!! I love serving and representing Jesus Christ! Its the best thing and I cry about it because I love it SO MUCH. One of my fave missionaries, that I love so much,  goes home this week.. ): Crazy. I love this gospel so much, I know it is true.

Have a wonderful week! we are going to a trampoline place.. hopefully I don't break anything! #knockonwood
LOVE YA!

FAMILY!

hey hey!!
We had a great week! Its definitely super cold- like 40*. brrrrr.. haha (;
I wish I could remember the week and what we did, but it was mostly meetings and more meetings. They were all super spiritual and inspiring! I learned a lot! Like being on time is super good- lol dang zone leaders. But it was really fun! I got to see a lot of the people I came out with at Mission Leadership Council! #reunion <3
Then the rest of the week we worked hard to find people to come to church and then our sweet investigator told us that her and dad were coming! #MIRACLE
we have tried alot to help her come and every time she's been busy or her parents couldn't take her. But they came yesterday and we're actually EARLY. that is very rare. But it was really a good experience and time for her- she liked it alot better than the HUGE Pathway Church (they try really hard to anti people from us) We are pretty popular. (;
Also- the dad is super nice and totally supportive of Tatyanna! He has had friends that are DEVOUT mormons and when I asked him what he thought he said "Nothing's changed." haha he has been to services before and I guess its the same from what he remembers. But that's a good thing I guess. He's really cool! And all the members were super friendly and welcoming! #bonus
After Church we had a linger longer for the YSA ward- we ate like champs yesterday. So by the end of the day I was sooo tired. I may or may not have fallen asleep while planning.... oops. hehe.
But overall we had a fun week- lots of driving but we stay entertained.
Anyway- people keep telling me I"m an old timer in the mission... which is super rude of them. I still have 3 months left thank you! My mission has meant the world to me and I wouldn't change it for anything. I love Kansas so much, hands down- the best place in the world. That is why they call it the Heartland! #truth
Have a great week and stay safe!!
I thought I would be random and send yall some inspiration!

"But behold, I, Nephi, will show unto you that the tender mercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chosen, because of their faith, to make them mighty even unto the power of deliverance."

New Year in Wichita!!

Hello! Happy New Year to y'all! Hope it was super exciting and crazy?!
So we had a fun week, we went on exchanges with our sweet sisters and had lots of faith growing miracles. I stayed in the west side of Wichita with sister Southwick- we were in Maize trying to get in contact with our missing investigator and as we were pulling into the home development a lady waved at us... #notnormal. And so I felt like we needed to talk to but I was kidna scared. Yes I'm human. So we tried our investie- she wasn't home. When we were walking back to our car the lady was gone. But as we were leaving she came outside again, and the promoting to talk to her came again... So we stopped the car parked on the side. As we were getting out I had no idea what this looked like to the lady but I just opened my mouth and yelled to her and asked if we could talk to her for a minute. We ended up talking to her for like 10, but she is so cool. Her family is so sweet and goes to a very popular church called New Spring which they love. But we gave her a Book of Mormon and invited her to read 3 Nephi 11- and she said we could come back! So we went back last night expecting to talk about the Book of Mormon, however we stayed for like 30 minutes and they had so many questions about our beliefs and what is so different. What is a Mormon? They actually spent some time thinking about us! Haha so we shared the restoration and it was one of my favorite lessons of my mission. They are an awesome family- however they really love their church but they said that they would like to hear more. #theywillbebaptized someday. Then we got in contact with our missing investigator!! And she is so excited to meet with us, even her cute little boy had been asking about us. So we had a really fun day yesterday- it was fast and testimony meeting and I was in the YSA Ward... So there is like 12 of us. Soo I bore my testimony and it felt good. 😎 I also led the music too in sacrament. Lol! Our Zone is doing well, we have a lot of cool missionaries.  Elder Hunt is now our Zone Leader and I get to serve with him! Funny huh. We met in a YSA Ward and now we're both serving missions in the same YSA Ward in the same mission. God is hilarious. I love it though, it's so much fun! Today we finally went shopping and I washed my laundry.. So it's been a good day! Ha it's 33 degrees and sunny! Wooh! I'm gonna get a tan out here. Lol jk.
Anyway- I can't remember much, other than I finished the Book of Mormon before the new year and it was so much fun.. I never thought i would say that reading scriptures was fun. But it was and I am super excited that we are studying it in Sunday school this year. The thing I learned this time was how exciting the Restoration is... In the end of the Book of Mormon, the world seems to be coming to an end of everything good. Moroni bears his dying testimony... If I could say anything to make you understand the love of God and Jesus Christ "Come unto Christ and be perfected in him..." Them he buries the plates and then what? What happened, we don't know! So when Joseph Smith restored the gospel to the earth, IT WAS A BIG DEAL. but I'm so grateful for it and I love being a representative of Christ for this short 18 months...but I plan on this forever... It's been amazing.
I love you all! Have a great new year and stay true to your resolutions! #losingweight?
